SimpVid: The easiest video making program!

Home Downloads Report a Bug Version History Contact Me! The alpha is NOT out! Just wait for it!

SimpVid is a video making software that allows to edit videos, in a simple and intuitive manner. This program is not out, yet. But, you can spread the word about this program! And this really supports me!

I am also going to start accept, donations! When... the first version releses.

Right now, this project is in a SUPER early state. I hope somebody will give me tips, while I make this project. I am basically learning while programming.

Q&A:

What are you using to make this program?
I use Python, and a library called MoviePy, and for the interface, I decided to use Tkinter, 'cause I already used it, and defenetly know some stuff about it. (Unlike MoviePy)

We've just reached 200+ views!!! Yay!! Big numbers, damn! But, the view groth has been stagnent, probably because I don't update the site often.

I am probably going to remove the website client, and replace it with a stand-alone program. Hope this goes well!

Well, I came back, and I decided to tell you all some stuff I am planning for this website.

1. Website makeover. I am developing a program for creating websites, sorta like Microsoft Frontpage (if you remeber that.), and I am going to visually boost the websites quality. The makeover will probably come out in like, 5-10 days.

2. An actual logo. I have made a cool looking logo, and a couple of variants of it. So here are some of those:

The first version of the logo.

This is the first version of the logo.

Now, with an outline

This is the second version, now with an outline.

The outline is now green.

This is the third version, now, the outline is green! (because it's spring related.)

The third version, but with a shadow.

This is the third version, but it has a shadow.

The third version, but with glow.

This is the third version again, but it has glow.

The final version

This is the final version, but I might tweak it.

The tweaked version

This is the tweaked version.

I actually thought that I would find a font I wanned, but I didn't found one, so I had to make my custom font, and by that I mean just draw it. But, I just used the Line/Curve tool provided by Paint.NET.

And finally, the 3. I almost compeleted the Submit a Feature program, the only thing I need to add to it now, is... To make it work!

There are the things already finished:

• The documentation / Help
• The general GUI.

We have just reached 300 views on Neocities! YAY!!! That's really cool!

11:31, Friday, 27 February 2026 (EET), Ukraine.

I have FINALLY completed my "Submit A Feature", program. And I am going to update the downloads page and the "Report A Bug" page, as well, with the program. It's a bit buggy but, it works! And I am VERY happy!

Ok, so it has been almost 2 months since I made an update, and well, I think I need to agnolidge that I am not dead, and indeed still working on the project, and I am thinking of ways to visually update the website, and also I want to update the "Submit A Feature" program, to be slightly better.

Sooooooo... I want to present to ya'all the first look into SimpVid, after ~2 months, I will show you the starter page of SimpVid...

OHHHH YEAH BABY! THE FIRST SCREENSHOT OF THE PROGRAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Note that it's probably going to be changed.

Well, I think this is OK, I was insipred by old versions of Flash back when the program wasn't owned by Adobe, and instead Macromedia. (specifically version 8)

(Also we resently hit over 700 views!!! Soon it will be at 1000!!)

thats a beeg reminder that this site was indeed hosted by Neocities
